I underestimated Barrios going in and so did a great deal of people. He put on a great performance to beat the former champion in Ugas. Ugas was clearly past his best at 37 and it wasn’t aided by a long layoff. Ugas’s injury from the Spence fight appeared again and it seems that Ugas will swell from any level of puncher. Barrios may have not beaten Ugas a couple years ago but he was the better man tonight and win the fight well.
