This was an incredible fight with both guys showing incredible heart and determination. It was an insane war early on with Akui looking to be the stronger of the two and on route to wearing Teraji down. Teraji showed world class stamina to throw for round after round and then inexplicably start boxing from the outside with good movement. He finally turned it on full blast in the 12th with a ferocious barrage of punches that didn’t stop until the stoppage came. It may have been a bit early but Akui somewhat collapsed afterwards so maybe it was the right time to stop it. Teraji shows again why he’s a pound for pounder in maybe the best fight of the year so far.
