Glad to see that there wasn’t a robbery in this fight like I expected. Not a great fight to watch but a good performance from Barboza. He didn’t really have to get out of first or second gear because Ramirez was so limited and refused to really up the tempo. Some of that has to do with Barboza obviously but there is something to him simply lacking the skill to cut off the ring and catch up to the better boxer. Barboza should give McComb his rematch now as no one thought he won that. We all know that won’t happen though.
