This was pretty boring for 9 rounds but in the last 3 Jai Opetaia and Mairis Briedis gave us a an entertaining scrap. Sadly it was so short but it clearly shows Briedis can give problems to Opetaia even at this age. Opetaia isn’t as good as many people say but don’t get this fight misconstrued as a bad performance. He made Brieids look average for a long time and got through some hard moments most fighters wouldn’t. Still I think his gas tank towards the end is a bit of a problem.
