This fight was a typical one in every fighters career. Morrell ran up against a guy who could take his power and had solid enough defence to stay away from most of punches. Unfortunately Morrell didn’t make the adjustments to stay dominant and instead got stuck in a back and forth pot shot match. He looked very mediocre here with poor punch selection and average accuracy but Kalajdzic was slippery. I just think Morrell had the one game plan of the knockout and ran out of ideas afterwards. A very underwhelming debut at 175 but with work he can still get to that top level.
