This was a fun action fight while it lasted. Fair play to both men for coming to fight but it was Smith who consistently landed the bigger punches. I thought Matias would be able to absorb those big punches and overwhelm Smith with pressure. Ultimately his chin just gave up and Smith put him down. The stoppage was pretty poor though as Matias should’ve been given another chance. To be fair Matias already got a chance when he failed a drug test for this fight and it was allowed to continue 🤷♂️ Big win for Smith who fought Matias’ style of fight and came up big.
