This was a really good, high level fight. Didn’t expect Noakes to be this good but he was really good and showed a high IQ plus great defence. Mason was super fast and sharp with his punches but his defence was so rough. Such a great offensive fighter but he just needs to tone back how much he goes for the stoppage. It makes him fun but he takes far too many punches. Really close fight but Mason edges it for me. Great test for the young prospect who is now world champion and has proven he’s the goods. Needs to improve on a lot to be as great as many think he can be, but he’s still only 21 so he has plenty of time.
