This was an easy fight for Fundora. He beat up Thurman and dominated the fight from the opening bell. Thurman had nothing for the range of Fundora and aside from a few lunges in, he landed nothing of substance. Once Fundora turned on the heat Thurman couldn’t get away and got his face messed up. Fundora is fun to watch but he’s flawed. I always enjoy watching him fight and hopefully he fights a champion. Tszyu (2) and Thurman aren’t bad fighters, but they don’t deserve the shot. It’s a typical PBC fight but he needs to fight real contenders.
