This fight was fun but Fawaz really put in the work down the stretch. Davis boxed well enough at the start but I don’t know what the commentary was seeing. They saw one way traffic for Davis but I saw closer rounds and so, unlike the commentators, I wasn’t shocked when I saw the more fitter Fawaz get back into the fight and take over. He had so much stamina and that’s what won him this. He kept up the pace and Davis gassed very badly. Solid fight but much clearer win than the commentators said it was for Fawaz, and those cards were mad. Definitely impressive especially as an underdog and at 38.
