Good fight here between Donovan and Chukhadzian. Donovan was very sharp early on and kept Chukhadzian at bay. Still, the Ukrainian was picking some shots and was in the fight. Donovan was able to land a nice knockdown in the 6th but the second knockdown definitely wasn’t one. The ending of the fight was all Chukhadzian as he went to work and out landed Donovan. Donovan was impressive early with very fast hands and good defence, but in the final rounds he got worked and looked to gas a bit. Still, a very good win for him and he looked quite impressive. Could’ve had this a draw if Chukhadzian had won the fake knockdown round, but it is what it is. Good to see an Irishman win a big fight but do we really want to see Crocker vs Donovan 3? I guess it’s better than Boots vs Chukhadzian 3 would’ve been 😂 People are going to say Boots sucks because of this now, but Donovan is just a very skilled fighter who fought a very different fight. Also this commentary stunk.
