This was a fun fight but both guys weren’t at their best. Ball was allowing Figueroa to open up against him on the ropes too much, and Figueroa was slow and getting out jabbed with a much longer reach. Going into the final round I had Ball 1 up and I could see a draw, but I thought Ball would edge it in a close fight. That final round knockout came out of nowhere and shocked me. Great punch from Figueroa who caught Ball as he was throwing the hook. It’s the typical punch that catches guys and gets a ton of knockouts. Never would’ve expect Figueroa to stop Ball especially to the head, but fair play to him. Big shocker in this one. Was horrible to see what happened afterwards as the Liverpool fans couldn’t let Figueroa celebrate. He had stuff launched at him for winning 🤦‍♂️ Accurately represents Ball to be fair as he’s a dirty fighter. Don’t know if I’d go as far to say I’m glad Ball got stopped, but I’m glad he got beat. Can’t really stand him especially after this run of bringing up 122 guys to defend against.
