We all just witnessed history tonight. Crawford moves up two weight classes after being at 154 for only 1 fight, and dethrones the undisputed champion and one of the pound for pound guys. What a great fight. Canelo tried his hardest and Crawford beat him on pure skill. Crawford looked incredible for being so much heavier and it didn’t affect him at all. He’s one of the best fighters ever and I’m glad to say I watched him live. Canelo’s legacy does admittedly take a hit because he lost, but he did show that he’s still one of the most skilled fighters in boxing. Crawford is just better. I’d love to see a rematch but this would be a great way for Crawford to bow out of the sport. It can’t get better than this… unless he fights Bivol? 😂 I wouldn’t put it past him.
